How long have you been CrossFit’ing? I have been crossfit’ing since September 2011.

What brought you to CrossFit?  I love the structure, intensity, camaraderie and “teamwork” atmosphere.  You show up each day knowing you will be pushed beyond where you might normally push yourself.  No one leaves the box until everyone finishes the WOD.  The coaches keep you safe and push you when they see you slacking off.

What is your favorite WOD or WOD type?  Fran kills me every time.  I love the timed WODs.

What is your least favorite WOD movement?  Burpee Burpee and Burpee.

What do your co-workers think about CrossFit?  They think I’m crazy for doing CrossFit.  

Provide a couple of interesting facts about yourself.  I love to compete. I have a passion for growing people and empowering them to be the best they are capable of becoming.I believe in the purpose of public education and am committed to making a difference in the future of our kids.Sports and learning have always been a passion.I’m 45 and want to run with the Bulls in Spain when I’m 50 (my wife, Terri, tends to disagree with this one)We have three amazing kids: Austin 9, Alex 6, and Abby 4.

What is your favorite WOD music?  The box where I started played a lot of rap music…. Therefore…… I lean that way.
